Metropolitan Plumbing Fairview Park recently attended a job for a customer in the local area who needed a plumber because they had a leak in their front yard coming from a copper pipe under the concrete. Our booking centre received the call at 10:06am on Tuesday June 13th and we were able to arrange for a plumber to attend that very same day between the hours of 3pm and 6pm. The customer was happy that we had a plumber available so soon.
Our local plumber arrived at the Soutchak Street address at 4:44pm that day and completed a job safety analysis before beginning the work. Our plumber then assessed the damaged pipe work in the ground and found that there were a few nicks in the pipe plus water still coming out near the house. The fully qualified plumber advised that it is best to replace the front section of copper pipe from the meter to the corner of the house. Our plumber then provided a quote to supply and install the 15 metres of copper pipe, which included removing the concrete. The customer decided to think about it before getting the work done.

A new customer in Upwey, Victoria contacted Metropolitan Plumbing at 9:36am on Tuesday June 13th. The customer needed a plumber because they suspected their stove was leaking gas. Our booking staff arranged for a plumber to attend that very same day between the hours of 5pm and 8pm.
Our local plumber arrived at the Centre Road address within the allocated timeframe that day. All of our fully qualified plumbers first complete a job safety analysis before beginning the work. Once he was sure it was safe, the plumber advised the customer he would have to do a gas test at the front meter to determine if there is a gas leak. He advised that if he found a gas leak on the fitting line then he would have to isolate the meter. The customer declined having the plumber disconnect the gas meter to check the fitting line, even though the plumber advised that it was unsafe to leave it.
Metropolitan Plumbing finished the job quickly in less than 30 minutes. Once the work was completed, the customer chose to pay using the convenient mobile EFTPOS facilities that each of our plumbers has available in their van.

At 4:12pm on Tuesday June 13th, Metropolitan Plumbing Kilburn received a call from a new customer in the local area. The customer needed a plumber because they had a blocked drain outside their kitchen. The customer was hoping to have a plumber come to their home on Hopetown Avenue the following afternoon. Our booking staff arranged for a plumber to attend between 1pm and 4pm the next day. The customer was also able to give us their credit card details over the phone because they would not be onsite when the plumber visited.
Our local plumber arrived at the customer’s address at 3:12pm on Wednesday June 14th. All of our fully qualified plumbers first complete a job safety analysis before beginning the work. Once the plumber had made sure it was safe, he accessed the blocked drain from the kitchen gully. The plumber found that there was a blockage in the kitchen sink drain caused by a build-up of grease. He managed to successfully clear the blockage using the hydro jet machine, and then tested the drain to make sure it was cleared.
This customer was pleased that Metropolitan Plumbing completed the job so quickly, in less than half an hour. Once the work was completed, the customer chose to pay using mobile EFTPOS.
Job Date 15th of June 2017 Chapel Hill QLD 4069
A new customer in the local area called Metropolitan Plumbing Chapel Hill at 1:00pm on Thursday June 15th. The customer needed a plumber because they had a gas leak. They were very happy to hear that we could have a plumber out to them within the hour that very same day so that the leak could be repaired quickly. This is an example of the excellent one hour service we are proud to offer our customers.
One of our local plumbers arrived at the Lomandra Place address at 1:24pm that day, less than half an hour after they called us. All of our fully qualified plumbers first complete a job safety analysis before beginning the work. Once this was done, the plumber investigated the LPG gas leak and found that it was coming from a fitting at a connection to the free-standing cooker. Our plumber was able to disconnect and re-seal this with gas sealant. He then tested this and found that there were no more leaks. The plumber also resecured the cooker and gas bottles to the wall for the customer.
The customer was pleased that Metropolitan Plumbing finished the job that day by 2:46pm. Once the job was completed, the customer chose to pay using mobile EFTPOS.

Just before 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday the 13th of June Metropolitan Plumbing Seacliff received a call from a customer in the local area with a blocked kitchen sink drain. The customer advised they had the following day off of work and would like a plumber to attend sometime that morning. Fortunately for the customer we were able to offer a three hour time frame between 10 am and 1 pm for the plumber servicing the Seacliff area to attend.
The fully qualified and experienced plumber servicing the Seacliff area arrived at the Brighton Road address in Seacliff, South Australia within the scheduled time frame pulling up to the property at exactly 12:18 pm. The plumber assessed the drain and found it to be blocked due to a build up of grease being placed down the drain. He was able to clear the blockage from the sink waste pipe using the hydro drain clearing machine. Our plumber was clear the blockage and test the work all within just half an hour of the him arriving to site. The bill was paid in full to the plumber via eftpos.

Metropolitan Plumbing received a call from a local customer in Marion, South Australia who needed a plumber to repair a gas hot water system that is not producing hot water. The call centre for Metropolitan Plumbing took a call from the customer on Tuesday the 13th of June at 9:11 am, there we were able to arrange a time for the plumber to attend between the hours of 12:00pm and 3:00pm.
Our plumber Daniel arrived at the 9 Parade address a little later than expected the booking centre called the customer via her mobile and landline and advised the plumber would be running late at 3:30pm the same day. Arriving in a Metropolitan van that has been stocked with standard parts and materials Daniel was able to assess the job required and determine where he was able to start work immediately. The plumber began by his work and installed new Bosch diaphragm kit and set the water temperature to 50 degrees.
Jims Plumbing were able to complete the work quickly in less than 45 minutes. Once the work was completed, the customer chose to pay using our convenient mobile EFTPOS, which we have available in each plumber’s van.

Metropolitan Plumbing received a call 1:13pm on Tuesday June 13th from a customer in Pultney Streets Adelaide, South Australia who needed a plumber because they had a sewer drain that was backing up, where the grease trap was emptied by the customer Two days prior to the booking. We were able to secure a booking for a plumber to attend on the same day by 1:30pm.
The plumber Mick arrived at the Pultney Street address within 30 minutes of making the booking time frame. Arriving in a Metropolitan van stocked with standard parts so that the work could start straight away. All of our fully qualified plumbers first complete a job safety analysis before beginning to make sure it is safe to proceed with the work. After the safety check, the plumber was able to begin clear the blockage. The plumber found there was several issue he had to overcome this unveiled rodding the main drain fully ( reaching all areas front and rear), roding all gully traps, this process did not clear the blocked as the outlet was covered in grease and were not able to gain access. He tried to use the drain machine to accessed the drain form the main life of the grease Trans the lock was unknown. The drain paper was tested after cleaning but unfortunately the drain was still blocked. The plumber recommended to get the trap pumped out and we re-attend before any water is used, then we can try to clear from the inside- may need to cut concrete to locate ad raise ip on the side of the grease trap.
Unfortunately Metropolitan Plumbing was not able to completed this job quickly in less than half an hour but schedule another time to re-attend. The plumber called the customer before processing the payment with the credit card details provided for the time on site and will have the customer rebook to continue and completed the work.

Metropolitan Plumbing Willaston had a local plumber attended a property on Saturday June 6th as the customer had a leaking hot water unit. When the plumber attended the McGonigal Drive address in Willaston he assessed the hot water unit and found it was unable to be repaired. The customer was provided with a fixed price quote for the supply and install of a new Chromagen gas hot water unit. The customer was very pleased with the quoted they received and accepted the quote straight away while the plumber was still on site and the job was organised for first thing the following morning.
The plumber that attended the property the day before arrived on site on the morning of Sunday June 11th and got to work straight away removing the existing hot water unit and installing the new unit. The pipework was altered to suit the new instantaneous hot water unit. This included upsizing the pipe work to suit regulations. On completion of the job the plumber was able to provide the customer with a detailed receipt for the work outlining all of the work he completed. A certificate of compliance was also provided to the customer.

Metropolitan Plumbing Williaston recently received a call from a new customer in the local area. This customer, who lived on McGonigal Drive, needed a plumber because their gas hot water system was leaking. Our booking centre received the call on Saturday June 10th at 8:08am. The customer was very happy to hear that we had a plumber available that very same day between the hours of 12pm and 3pm.

Once our plumber had done the safety check, he inspected the customer’s electric hot water system and found that it needed to be replaced with a new one. The plumber prepared a quote for supplying and installing a new Chromagen gas instantaneous hot water service, which was accepted by the customer. This quote included removal of the existing unit, altering the pipework to suit the new unit and upsizing the pipework, materials and labour.
Jims Plumbing managed to complete the installation all on the same weekend, and were finished by the Sunday evening. The customer chose to pay using mobile EFTPOS.

On Friday June 9th at 4:43pm, the Metropolitan Plumbing booking centre received a call from a new customer in Parkville, Victoria. The customer needed a plumber because the pipe at the back of their toilet was leaking from the rubber seal. Our booking staff were able to arrange for a plumber to attend the Warrs Road address that very same day between the hours of 4:30pm and 7:30pm. The customer also supplied their credit card details over the phone as they were the landlord and would not be onsite when the plumber was coming.
Our local plumber arrived at the customer’s property at 6:18pm that evening. The fully qualified plumber arrived in a Metropolitan Plumbing van stocked with standard parts so that he could start working immediately, after first completing a job safety check. Once he knew it was safe to proceed, our plumber was able to repair the leaking toilet pipe. This involved changing the outlet rubber on the pipe behind the toilet.
Metropolitan Plumbing finished this job quickly in less than half an hour and the plumber left the site at 6:39pm. Once the work was completed, the plumber processed the payment using the credit card details the landlord had supplied to us over the phone.

On Monday the 12th of June at 7:35 am Metropolitan Plumbing Walkerville’s after hours booking centre team took a call from a customer requiring an emergency plumber. The customer was struggling to find someone that was available as it was a public holiday luckily for the customer Metropolitan’s plumbing have plumbers working every single day of the year. A tap in the customer’s home had become stuck and was unable to be turned off. After discussion with the customer a plumber was scheduled to attend the Stephen Terrace property in Walkerville, South Australia between 9 am and 12 pm that same day.
As requested by the customer the plumber called the customer 30 minutes before he arrived to site. He arrived to site within the scheduled time frame pulling up to the property at 9:46 am. The customer showed the plumber to the broken tap. The plumber had a look at the tap and explained to the customer it would need replacing due to the age and the wear and tear of the currents taps. The customer agreed with the plumber and chose some new taps out of the selection the plumber had with him. The new tapware was installed by the plumber before he cleaned up the area and headed on his way.
